Recovery wasn't just physical; it was mental and emotional warfare I wasn't prepared for.
But here's what I learned through those three tears and five surgeries: adversity is opportunity. Each time I came back, I came back smarter. I studied what worked and what didn't. I obsessed over the details. I connected with other athletes going through the same thing, and we pushed each other forward. By the time I was truly recovered, I wasn't just back to where I started—I was stronger, faster, and more resilient than ever before.
That's when it hit me. I had access to resources, time, and obsessive determination. But most athletes don't. Most people tearing their ACL are left with generic protocols and zero community.
